Nepal has a typical monsoonal two-season year. The best time to be in Nepal is during the dry season which is from October to May. The start of the dry season, September through November,  is in many ways the best time of the year in Nepal. With the monsoon only recently finished, the countryside is green and lush. Nepal is at its most beautiful during this time and there are many colorful festivals to enjoy.
