SAMPLE ITINERARY

DAY ONE
Arrival and airport welcome with garland
The guests will be met by Natraj Representative
upon arrival and escorted to the baggage hall. Identified
baggage will be sent to the hotel directly in a separate
luggage van. Guests will board to waiting a/c coaches
and driven to the hotel. Guests will be offered cold/hot
towels, mineral water and soft drinks in the coach. The
drive from airport to hotel will take approximately 30
minutes.
Arrival at the hotel
Upon arrival at the hotel, guests will
be accorded a traditional Nepali welcome with a red mark
in the forehead and escorted to the hotel garden for a
welcome drinks and room key distribution.

DAY TWO

Kathmandu Durbar Square
Sightseeing tour of Kathmandu Durbar Square,
with its old temples and palaces, epitomizes the religious
and cultural life of the people. Here, the kings of Nepal
are crowned and solemnized. Interesting things for visitors
to see are Taleju temple, gigantic figure of Kalbhairav
(the god of destruction), Basantapur Durbar, and Temple
of Kumari (living goddess).

DAY THREE
Early morning tour of Bouddhanath “Little
Tibet” to witness Buddhist prayer session by monks
at Mustang Monastery
Bouddhanath (Little Tibet)
Bouddhanath is among the largest Stupas
in south Asia. It has become the focal point of Tibetan
Buddhism in Nepal. The white mound looms thirty-six meters
overhead. The Stupa is located on the ancient trade route
to Tibet. Tibetan merchants rested and offered prayers
here for many countries. When refugees entered Nepal from
Tibet in the 1950’s, many of them decided to live
around Bouddhanath.

Chitwan National Park
Royal Chitwan National Park (RCNP)
This is one of Nepal’s largest forest
reserve with a wide range of wildlife; the great one horned
rhinoceros, several species of deer, sloth bear, leopard,
wild boar, fresh water dolphin, crocodile, more than 350
species of birds and the elusive royal Bengal tiger. This
is one of the best-managed national parks in the world,
which covers an area of 1040 sq. km. It is situated 160
km southwest of Kathmandu. RCNP is the last home for about
250 remaining endangered Asian one-horned rhinoceros.

of Patan Durbar Square
Patan Durbar Square
The square boasts of many famous sites
and unique architecture. Krishna Mandir in the Patan Durbar
Square was built to honor an incarnation of Vishnu. Krishna
was a favorite among the gopini (cowgirls). His temple
is the best example of stone architecture in the World.
Scenes from the Mahabharat, Asia's greatest mythological
war, are carved on the temple's walls.
The streets in the Patan Durbar Square
area are home to traditional artists and sculptors. Many
more temples dedicated to Ganesh (the elephant-headed
god), Shiva, Narsingha, Taleju, and others are located
at Patan Durbar Square.

Bhaktapur
Today Bhaktapur is known as an “open
museum” and a “living heritage“. Brick
paved enclave of old royal palace buildings dating back
13th to 14th centuries, artistic temples and exquisite
artwork offers a picture of the grandeur of medieval Nepal.
Bhaktapur will surprise visitors with its presentation
of innumerable temples and other architectural showpieces
– Nyatapola, Bhairavnath, Dattatraya, Pujari math
with peacock window and many more.

and easy trek to Changu Narayan

Trek to Changu Narayan
The trek brings guests to the temple complex
of Changu Narayan, where Newari artisans carved beautiful
stone carvings of Lord Vishnu in the sixth and seventh
centuries. The stone still standing at the west side of
the temple is said to be the earliest known inscription
in Kathmandu Valley, recounting King Mandev’s military
conquests in the fifth century.
